Wildlife biologist Gus Bekker of Wenatchee will present a slide show on "Bears of the North Cascades" on Thursday, March 31, at 7pm at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Bekker is the U.S. Highway 2 field representative for the Grizzly Bear Outreach Project, which educates communities on large, rare carnivores such as cougar, Canada lynx, gray wolves, wolverines and bears.
