A document from the early 90s just surfaced from the archives. It's a great summary of the epic struggles that N3C has engaged in to save the Cascades. And not just the area where NCNP is today... some areas we've strived to protect may surprise you. To start with, N3C got the Glacier Peak Wilderness designated BEFORE The Wilderness Act!
